Bonnie Parker

Welcome to The Bonnie Parker Band website!

It is so awesome to have this site to share with all of you our memories, photos, stories, videos and music.

This page will be ever-changing and updating… Always adding new stories from past members and fans. Everyone is welcome to contribute!

I have so many wonderful memories and experiences from performing all over in countless bars, clubs and concerts. And I also want to honor all the fabulous musicians that played with me throughout the years in the many configurations of the Bonnie Parker Band.

Most importantly, I want to send out a huge thank you and much kudos to Michael Castello, a BPB alumni, for putting the site together and organizing everything. I would have never been able to do this without him! Michael, you ROCK!

This was a very special time in my life that I will never forget! Cheers!

Wrong Clothes – Wrong Crowd

We were playing at a place called Shaker Park Night Club in Enfield, Connecticut. It was a huge rectangular hall, but there had been a big snowstorm that night and day. We were there, so the show must go on.

We came out to do the first set and the club was empty. After we finished, we took a 20 minute break in the dressing room to ready ourselves for our second set. Rudy looked out and noticed there were still no people in the club… Very strange! So, one of the guys dared us to go out and play the next show in just our underwear! Who cares? No one is there to see us anyway. We walked went on stage to start the next set–there were the guys–Rudy, Michael, and David in just their Tighty Whiteys…!

We started playing and suddenly, we noticed people started coming in from a far back door. There must have been in a smaller bar on the other side of the hall… People…more people, and then a lot more people started coming in! Oh brother!

If I remember correctly, when we finished playing Are You Ready to Rock and Roll, the guys scampered off the stage so they could put their pants back on! Lol!

What a hoot!
