It was early to mid seventies when Bobby Jordan, manager of Dodds in East Orange NJ, told me the Bonnie Parker Band was looking for a guitar player.

I had recently left Godspeed for personal reasons, but was itching to get back out on the road.

 

I went out to Long Island for an audition and was hired. Bonnie was a true player, always laying it down and always with a vision on where she wanted to go. Though that period of my life was a bit dark, I do remember the great clubs we played, The Stone Balloon, Dunes ‘till Dawn, The Elegant Elephant and so many more.

 

So happy to see Bonnie still ‘rawking’, kicking’ arse and taking names. Thanks Bonnie, playing in your band was a highlight of my early years.
